Tina Scheerens, L&D RN
Tina has 17 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery. She is currently employed full-time in a busy labor and delivery unit where she cares for normal and high-risk patients. She is proficient in OB triage, antepartum care, labor, and postpartum care. Tina provides bedside nursing care and is a charge nurse as well. She is certified in OB Electronic Fetal Monitoring, Neonatal Resuscitation, and Basic Life Support. She enjoys the challenge of chart review and is an excellent writer. Tina has been described as articulate, bright and warm. She excels in finding the hidden facts that are pivotal to your case. As always, initial consultation for expert vetting is free of charge (up to 20 minutes).

Jesika Staggs, RN
Jesika is a Labor and Delivery Nurse with over six years of experience caring for high-
risk obstetrics patients. She is certified in Electronic Fetal Monitoring, Inpatient
Obstetrics Nursing, Neonatal Resuscitation, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support,
Basic Life Support, and STABLE. Prior to specializing in obstetrics, Jesika cared for
critically ill patients in a cardiac intensive care unit. She also taught 8th-grade English
before becoming a nurse, so she is an excellent writer and able to explain complex medical/nursing topics in an understandable way.
Jesika has received multiple accolades and awards from patients and leadership
during her nursing career, including multiple Daisy Award nominations and awards for
excellence in nursing. Jesika prides herself on thoroughness, critical thinking, and
assessment skills and she translates those abilities to her work in chart reviews and
expert witnessing.
When she is not caring for laboring patients and their families, Jesika enjoys spending
time with her husband and two boys at the beach. She also loves gardening, her “plant
babies,” and cooking.
